10 Things to Make Up for Yesterday!

1. 2 people told me that I should sell my crochet work... 1 gave me a number for some connections and another told me to bring things by her store.

Kissy Kissy

Hello! I was going to do a Thanksgiving inspired post, but I'm just not inspired by Thanksgiving! It's a great holiday and I love what it stands for, but the decorations and things are just not my style. I'll hold off until after Thanksgiving to do any Christmas related posts, though. :) My apartment is already decorated, though. LOL!

I'm thankful for:
1. A.S. who I work with. She's the nicest person and always tells me what I need to hear. Plus, she wrote an Above and Beyond about me, which really made me feel good. It's rare that I get recognized at work. : )
2. Today is my day off! (And yes it is raining.... once again I missed all the good weather. Tee hee.)
3. Matt turned on the space heater, so I won't freeze during my shower!
4. The apartment is almost clean! I'm having company tonight, and I'm a little nervous. Her house is super aweome and clean and adult looking... my apartment is not. :)

5 Things I like!

2. Shopping for Thanksgiving with Matt! We're having it at our apartment. We don't really have any place to sit, but it's going to be fun anyway!
3. Painting only 1 fingernail as an experiment. I think I'll paint the rest. I like the color.
4. The mitten I'm working on almost fits me. Maybe they'll stretch out!
5. REALLY REALLY REALLY nice people at work yesterday. It made the 211 transactions bareable.

Work takes over my life...

1. I'm making mittens!!!!! I don't know if they'll fit, though. They look too small, but maybe they'll stretch out! Regardless I'm super excited! I even worked on them on my breaks at work!
2. 2 out of 6 days at work finished!
3. Last night I didn't get yelled at at work!
4. Suprise phone call from Cassie! Sorry I couldn't call you back because I was at work.
5. Fun holiday meeting at work on Sunday! I found out last night that we WILL have muffins! Hooray!

Hopefully not muffins like this one, though....

Things I like about winter:

Typically I don't like winter. I don't like being cold, or scrapping ice off my car, or slipping on the sidewalk. I especially don't like winter in Missouri because one day it's freezing and the next it's warm. You just can't be prepared. 

But there are some things I like:

I have no idea what I want to write here. Last nght at work was awful and I pulled a muscle in my back while I was sleeping and dreaming of work! It's all very unhappy, so I don't know what to write. :(

#2 To have a group of friends rent 1 or 2 hotel rooms for a weekend and spend the entire time hanging out, swimming, walking to whatever entertainment we can find... I remember in high school I went on a retreat with church. I don't remember why we were there, but we went to some Day's Inn that had a HUGE water park type swimming pool. It was so much fun! I want to do that again. Just hang out and be carefree!
#3 To join a theatre group and start doing what I love again.
#4 A job that makes me feel good about myself.
#5 Bacon and coffee and cereal and toast. MMMMMMM... I need food!

Things I'm thankful for:
1. Cassie! She's such a good friend. I wish we lived in the same city!

2. Martha's Vineyard and dancing with no inhabitions! I just kept on moving even though I know I looked like an idiot. :) It was fun!
3. SUSHI! I want to go to Umi again! So good and not that expensive because they give you salad and soup, so it's 1 roll a piece is enough! (Plus edamame, of course!)
4. Sleeping in and feeling happy to wake up. My first thoughts were "Wow, I slept really good... I don't think I moved all night... how lovely! I hope I didn't have to get up earlier, though!"
5. Showers. I need one. :) I wish people didn't smoke in clubs.

1. Craft night! I made a Christmas garland. Basically just a silver rope with little red, green, and white mittens and christmas trees. Easy... mostly pre-made, but cute!
2. Meeting new people. I really enjoy all of Lindsey's friends. They're super nice and acceptng and it's wonderful!
3. Laying on the couch, curled up with a blanket doing nothing but watcing Glee. It's been awhile since I just curled up on the couch and watched TV without doing anything.
4. Coffee... I'm really tired.
5. Singing in the car!

2. GLEE TONIGHT! (I gave Cassie a hard time in the comment section of my last post about being thankful for the same things over and over... and I do the same thing! LOL!) I can't help it with Glee! I love Glee! GLEEEEEEEEE! I can't watch until tomorrow because I don't have TV, but knowing it is on is worth it!

1. Peanut butter and jelly... mmmmmm! I love sandwhiches! Yesterday for lunch I had a PBandJ, carrots, and a Dr. Pepper!

3. Finished stocking! I got so caught up crocheting that I didn't check my phone until after midnight, sorry Cassie! I wanted to talk to you!

4. Glee comes on tomorrow night! I've missed it so much! SO MUCH
5. Day off tomorrow... it stinks that Matt has to work from 1-10 and I'm off. I have to go to bed at 10 too, because I open on Thursday. Oh... that's sad. We'll get up at like 6am. Anyway, I'm thankful for the time off!

The on-going list of things I'm thankful for...

It's super early, and I posted late last night, but I want to post again this morning!

1. The coffee Matt just brought me. Yummmmmm! And it's in a cute reindeer mug!
2. It not being FREEZING outside. Although it's weird for November, it's nice for me. I'm happy I don't have to scrape my car windows before work.
3. I'm going to be really positive and find the good by saying "I have a lot of variety in my work schedule the next few weeks."
4. My laptop and writing some of my script last night in the car!
5. 13/17s done with my second stocking! Christmas is on its way! WOOT!

I was so excited to come home to comments on my blog, but that's okay! I'm sure everyone was just busy. :) I know I was!

1. Going to KC to see my mom's new home/helping her move in/helping her decide where to put decorations and things!
2. My mom bought me a few groceries! I didn't mean to take some of hers, but that happened. :) Woops!
3. Two movies! Michael Jackson's This is it! and Men Who Stare at Goats. Both super wonderful and odd in their own ways! GO see them! :)


4. Delicious food all weekend!
5. Seeing my grandma for her birthday and going to Barnes and Noble semi-with her. Yay! I love spending time with my family!
